ILDONG Bioscience, Acquired ISO 14001, International Standard for Environmental Management
ILDONG Bioscience of ILDONG Pharmaceutical Group has acquired ISO 14001 certification, an international standard for environmental management systems.
According to ILDONG Bioscience, the company aims to enable achieving economic effects such as efficient use of resources, minimization of waste, compliance with environmental laws and accident prevention as well as enhancement of corporate image and global competitiveness by acquiring ISO 14001.
ISO 14001 is one of the certifications established by International Standard Organization (ISO) to establish standards and guidelines related to environmental management of organization.
ISO 14001, an environmental management system certification, means that environmental management is an important criterion in the organization’s system and operation and environmental improvement is achieved in accordance with related standards and guidelines.
An official member of ILDONG Bioscience said, “As environmental management has become a new paradigm for business operation, the environmental change of company’s effort such as using eco-friendly materials is demanded”.
